Ideas for Assessment 2

At this point in time I have finalised my chosen Idea. It will be aimed at 4 to 6 year old staring to learn addition. Before they start any addition they will go through a Counting lesson and quiz, this is to make sure that they can recognise the numbers from 1 to 20 in the right order. The quiz will test them counting backward and forward.

They will be given the lessons in a PowerPoint format which will go through a basic idea of both counting and adding, including some methods to help them in both areas. For counting the methods I will cover are Finger counting, Use of objects like an abacus and use of a Number Line. For adding I will be covering using counting skills to help add 2 number together.

I will be adding a quick game for the learner to have a go at which will be placed in the adding lesson. The game will use both adding and counting skills and help improve both skills.

At this point both the quizzes are completed with a variety of questions. The PowerPoint are nearing a demonstrable state. The game has been given feedback and I have made some improvements based on the feedback provided.
